Skyler Wright-Mirsky is a senior at Warhill High School graduating 2024. This is their first-year writing for the Warhill Times. They enjoy art, theater, music, crafting and animals. They are 18 years old, and their birthday falls under the Aquarius sign meaning they were born in January. Skyler enjoys many art forms: photography, painting, drawing and crafting along with many others. Skyler likes to study nature and literature, especially poetry. Their favorite poet is Edgar Allan Poe, and their favorite work by him is “Annabell Lee.” Skyler has been intrigued by art and literature from an early age. Their favorite thing of all is music; Music helps them through any emotion they may feel and gives them inspiration. They plan to have a career in music and as a veterinary assistant. Skyler has their own pet black cat named Eclipse which they love very much. Skyler is an introvert, but once you get to know them, Skyler can be very bubbly, compassionate, loving and empathetic. Skyler’s favorite quote is by Kim Johnson, “The moon taught me it’s okay to go through phases. The sun taught me no matter how many times you go down, keep rising.”
