The first reported robbery happened in the 300 block of West Webster Avenue at 2:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17. Two more were reported Sunday afternoon in the 1800 block of North Larrabee Street at 3:45 p.m. and in the 2200 block of North Halsted Street at 3:33 p.m.

Those addresses place the incidents in a busy part of the North Side where residents, visitors and pedestrians regularly move through the neighborhood. Police said all three victims were women walking by themselves when they were confronted.
