St. Patrick’s Day is the feast day of St. Patrick, a Patron Saint of Ireland. Originally celebrated with religious feasts and services, St. Patrick’s Day became a secular celebration of Irish culture when it reached the United States alongside Irish immigrants.
On March, Monday, March 11, 2024, candygrams were distributed during lunches at Warhill High School. A student at Warhill high school says, “Having the candy grams was an act of kindness, showing love and caring for others.” The candygrams sold for a dollar each. This gave students the opportunity to show friends love, respect and care. The candygrams were like giving a sweet little hug in candy form. Acting kind always matters; it has a ripple effect. When people show kindness to others, it inspires one to do the same. It creates a positive atmosphere and can make someone’s day better. Plus, being kind feels good! It is important because it helps build strong relationships and makes the world a happier place to be. Spread kindness and be a friend!
