Teachers at Warhill High School are busier than ever, especially as the interim ends. What do teachers do when they are at school when their students are not in the classroom? What do they do when they are at home? One Warhill teacher that many students praise is Mrs. Falls, the geometry lab, algebra 2, trigonometry, and algebra 1 teacher. “From Monday through Thursday I do the same thing basically.” Mrs. Falls starts her school days by teaching three classes, then spends one block planning and grading. Then after school, she tutors students, walks her Australian shepherd, Sully, and reads a book. However, on Fridays, she goes out with friends or does other fun activities. On Saturdays, she goes to the farmer’s markets in the morning with her husband, plays with her dog, and sometimes even spends time at Busch Gardens. On Sundays, she goes to church in the morning. She spends her Sunday afternoons running errands. “I go to the gym, grocery shop, meal prep for the week, and relax.” Mrs. Falls does all of this before doing it all over again the next week.
